Can I bring friends who didn't book with us?
Sure, our hostel is open to the public from 7 am to 23 pm, so feel free to bring friends or come visit the hostel if you are not staying with us.
Is it quiet at night?
We turn down the sound and ask all guests to maintain silence from 10 pm, Lagoa da Conceição has plenty of entertainment at night just a couple of minutes from the hostel and we do our best so all guests get a good night of sleep.
Do you rent surfboards, chairs or umbrella?
We do not rent, but on any beach is very easy to find who rent and you don't need to carry to the beach and back.
Is a padlock for the locker offered?
We have a spacious locker (210 liters) for each guest in the bedroom and for those who check in or check out after hours. We do not provide the padlock for the lockers in the rooms, so bring yours!
Are sheets, cover and towel included?
We offer elastic sheet, non-elastic sheet, pillowcase and cover. Towels are rented for 5 reais for as long as you need.
Can I use my own sheets?
We offer a set of sheets and ask guests to use ours, even if you use your own bedding or sleeping bag.
Do you have laundry service?
We do not have, but we are partners with laundries that offer discounts to our guests.
Can I check out after 12 pm?
We have a permanence fee of 10 reais to store your backpack in a locker and use the space of the hostel, such as bathrooms, kitchen and common areas, until midnight.
Can I check in before 2 pm?
For early check-in, between 7 am and 12 pm, we charge a 10 reais stay fee to store your bags in a locker and use the hostel's space, such as bathrooms, kitchen and common areas, until check-in time.
What is the check in and check out time?
Check in time is from 2 pm until midnight (we don't do check in after midnight).
Check-out time is 12 pm.
My flight arrives late, can I check in at the hostel after midnight?
We don't do check in after midnight in respect to other guests who are already in the house.
I made a reservation through Booking.com, can you cancel or change the dates?
All bookings made with Booking.com must be changed with Booking through their application or their website or by calling customer service.
Can I stay in the bottom bunk bed?
We do not reserve beds, all beds are distributed according to arrival, if you want to change when a bed becomes vacant, please let an employee know.
What is the cancellation policy?
We offer free cancellation up to 7 days before your check in.
After 7 days and until 2 pm on the day before check-in, we charge 50% of the total reservation amount.
After 2 pm on the previous day we charge the total daily rate to cancel.
In case of no show the reservation is canceled and the full amount of the reservation is charged.
Was a fee charged to my card?
With 7 days from your arrival at the hostel, it will be charged 50% of the total reservation amount.
I already checked in and want to cancel nights, how do I do?
It is the same rule with respect to bookings:
We offer free cancellation up to 7 days before the night you want to cancel.
After 7 days and until 2 pm on the day before the night you want to cancel, we charge 50% of the remaining reservation amount.
After 2 pm on the previous day of the night you want to cancel, we charge the total daily rate.
